Kmart Tyre and Auto at Garden City, recently had a refurbishment due to parking at the centre being upgraded. However we have been having our vehicles serviced here for years. Because of the national brand accountability is a certain. The only problem I ever have is trying to get in for the urgent stuff as they are usually booked out for a couple of days in advance, this means you do have to keep your wits about you and not expect them to drop everything for your emergency. Excellent clean workshop with people who know what they are talking about and not trying to rip you off. A full list of works is supplied with every invoice showing you exactly what was done, they also call you should you require any further work before proceeding for acceptance of cost associated. Overall a great mechanic that I would refer to my mother…

The Kmart Tyre & Auto Service at Garden City, Upper Mount Gravatt, exceeded my expectations on cost, timeliness, and quality. I set aside three days for them to get everything done, but got a call back 5 hours after I put my car in saying everything was complete. I was surprised mostly by the cost. In the past at mechanics I’d always seem to spend around $ 1000 and not get a whole lot done. This time I got the main reason for putting my car in (noisy driveshaft/​CV shaft) replaced, but also got a new battery, three new wiper blade assemblies, 3 faulty lights fixed, new gasket, and a 210,000 km service done including new timing belt and fuel filter all for around $ 1400. I would reccommend this business to anyone looking for friendly and competent mechanics.
