Located in Unley, Cancer Care Centre is housed in a quaint cottage amidst leafy surroundings. It provides excellent support, care, education and activities for cancer patients and survivors.
Being a nonprofit organisation, the Centre receives funding from the government and often get funding relies heavily on donations and fundraising activities.
Some of the services they provide include counselling, support groups, therapies, exercise, workshops and an excellent resource centre.
From someone who has lost a loved one to cancer, I think the work and support they are giving to the community and cancer patients is commendable.
