Budget Car & Truck Rental

Nooooooope.
Let me explain. Car rental places at the airport should be buttoned down. I mean, they should be so good at what they do due to the sheer number of times they’ve had to do it that they should the definition, the very definition, of a well-​oiled machine.
Things started off well enough when we booked, and quickly descended into farce when the car wasn’t in the spot it was meant to be in the far end of the car park. Instead of trekking all the way back to the office we wandered around and eventually found the car ourselves, but it was locked, the keys weren’t in the ignition, and the car seat that we’d asked for hadn’t been put in.
I found a Budget rep and mentioned all this, and he radioed someone for the keys. And the car seat? «I’m sure it’s on the way, just look for someone walking around holding a car seat and that’s your guy.» Okay then. To be fair, the car seat guy was amazingly helpful, and when we got underway it was smooth sailing, but it took us an hour longer to get out of there than it should have. Ehh.
