Getting there late on a week day wasn’t the best idea. The fish and crab sticks tasted like they had been chucked in the microwave. Overly priced for the quality received. They might have been ok for some one who has never eaten fish n chips before. The variety on the menu looks promising until you eat something. After that, you lose interest in trying. Worth a go once.

It’s comforting to be served fish and chips by a man who lives and breathes fish(without the fish breath off course). The owner takes great pride in his product and it is very noticeable. Great fish and heaps of chips, I got a large piece of snapper and a mountain of chips for about $ 10. Considering it’s quite the trek to Fremantle for the city’s best fish and chips, I’m more than happy to settle for Captain Roc’s ! Not too greasy, perfect amount of salt, and really tasty fish!
