Let start by saying I never write negative reviews… I leave that to others and the market forces to deal with.
Don’t be fooled by appearances… Valentino is not your typical pizza/​pasta place
and has become our regular go to restaurant for casual dining.
They produce absolutely delicious simple looking yet sophisticated smaller plates often with unusual combinations that leave you wanting more. The arrancini is to die for.
I know its a cliché but there is genuine love in the food here.
I suggest a few smaller starters, then perhaps share a pasta, main or pizza… Heaven!
Ingredients are farm fresh and the menu changes almost daily.
The service is exceptional… very rare these days.

A recently opened casual restaurant in Hawksburn village that is a delightful surprise. Came on a weeknight for drinks and dinner and did not leave disappointed. Atmosphere is relatively casual, the staff are friendly enough but the food is really fantastic. Whatever they’re putting into that braised goat sauce should be illegal. If I could buy it by the litre I would.
