This café is in a handy location for a business chat, but it can be noisy so choose your table wisely. The rear area is open to the weather also. Coffee is very good and my companion ordered breakfast — poached eggs, bacon and toast which looked okay. Overall it’s just okay as a place, but I say again … good coffee.

Amazing fresh, perfectly cooked traditional Italian pasta. Great spot in the CBD for a quick lunch with quality food. They also serve sandwiches and salads. Prices for lunch dishes are around $ 20 — $ 25 which is a little on the pricey side for a work day lunch, but for pasta this good it’s worth a splurge once in a while. The café is small, cramped, always packed(make sure you get in early!), has plastic chairs and food court-like tables… would have been 5 stars otherwise!

Delicious espresso and delicious food. The service is fast in the morning and perfect for a quick stop before work. I ordered the truffled eggs which had the perfect amount of truffle. Would definitely recommend for breakfast and espresso.

Panzerotti café has a wonderful atmosphere, great tasting(as well as beautifully presented) food, and does not burn a hole in your pocket. For an Italian eatery in the heart of the corporate district, I was pleasantly surprised that no main exceeded $ 25. I ordered the roasted eggplant gnocchi with chilli, this was cooked brilliantly and really made my meal. I also had the lamb croquettes as a starter which is worth trying. In conclusion, excited to come back and try everything else out.

Cracking coffee, cracking pasta & very few lunchtime spots in the CBD better for people watching. Gets very busy though so get there early or try to book. Try the penne prosciutto, it’s delicious.

It’d be unfair to judge this place’s lunch menu, as I only popped in for breakfast, but it looked like a beautifully crafted Italian menu filled with salads, pasta dishes and baguettes. I couldn’t fault it as a breakfast destination. A basement café, its glass-less windows look out on the street from a lower level, allowing you to soak up the atmosphere from the streets without glaring people in the face. There’s a black colour scheme which adds to the stylish, Italian feel, and most of the seats are stools, so it’s ideal for those who only want a quick bite to eat or sip of coffee. The baristas are dynamic and cheery, greeting regulars and charming newcomers. I followed the chalk board’s advice and had some of their home-made marmalade on sourdough. It was such a treat having such homely marmalade on the toasted bread, it made this café feel far more friendly than many other CBD cafes. The coffee was brilliant too, and conjured up before I’d barely even finished saying the words«medium latte.» A new favourite!
