Hokka Hokka

I have had several of the noodle soups and combos from the bainmarie. Most dishes are westernised, however still taste good. The laksa is average. Lots of sodium/​msg so drink plenty of water with your meal! Portion sizes are large so come here if you need a big feed with a relatively low cost!

As good as any other Hokka Hokka outlet, nothing particularly special. Pick two or three dishes from the bainmarie, add rice or noodles and bam, you’ve got lunch. Nothing wrong with the food, however it’s a little bland and very Westernised (which can be good or bad, depending on your point of view), and therefore a little hard to reccommend when there’s so many cheap Asian eateries around the city that have more interesting food available. Still, a good option for nervous eaters.

You’ll find your typical noodle boxes here but I come for the Malay /​Chinese bins of food under the heat lamps!
