The yellow curry with eggplant and tofu, not sure what it’s called has an amazing flavour. $ 7 for 1 curry, $ 9 for 2 curries. Including a papadum. Nice!

One of the best cheap eats around town! For a measly $ 7, you get a full plate of rice and curry. If you’re a student, you’ll pay $ 6 for the same plate. I always ask for extra papadums(the thin wafer like cracker) to go with the rice. The curries are all vegan so they’re pretty healthy too. The staff are pretty friendly and I have always had a good time when I dine there.

Not a bad place. It’s self-service with a relatively limited menu. Most things cannot be made vegan. I got a Minestrone, which was quite spicy but delicious. I also ordered fries, which were okay. They offer water infused with herbs for free. There are power outlets near some tables.

Randomly walked in just wanting a snack but ended up having a meal. We had the $ 5 lunch deal and chose plain rice with a delicious dahl and it came with a piece of papadam. The«small» salad was pretty big and only $ 6. We got half Tofu Teriyaki and half Roasted Pumpkin & Quinoa. SO good and so cheap at the same time! Vegan paradise.

I’m a big fan of meal deals. Variety is the spice of life, and being able to shove as many different foods into my gob as I can at a bargain price makes me a happy, thrifty and chubby bunny. Hari’s offers great value: two yummy veggie curries with rice(a choice of fried or steamed; I chose fried, obvi), dahl and papadum, all served with complimentary homemade tomato and sweet plum sauces for $ 10. Unlimited free homemade sauces= my undying devotion. The portion size was big enough that my big, rugby-playing BF and I were able to share a plate(not an easy feat) so we could try the snacks on offer. The veg samosa was good but fairly standard. I loved the fried cauliflower, I just wish it was served a bit warmer. The vegan kofta was yummy as well, with a coconut undertone. We got the raspberry cheesecake to finish, which was OK but again fairly standard. I’d go for some of their other vegan cakes next time. All in all an excellent meal! Love tasty vegan food!

I love this place! I just got home with a very full belly(and some leftovers in a container). $ 10 gets you 2 curries, rice, a papadum & daal(lentil soup). More than enough to fill you up. I also got the vegan lasagne & the pesto salad to share with my girlfriend. All of it was delicious, and the people working there were really friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
