Brown Park Recreation

I love this recreation centre. It really does service the Swan View/​Greenmount community well.
Brown Park was built some years ago and consists of two lovely large ovals, and two separate recreation buildings at the top of the ovals. One of the buildings is simply one room and the other is more like a centre, boasting two indoor basketball courts and a smaller and larger room. (I think this is about right!)
Brown Park is used by a plethora of people for a plethora of reasons. Irina Asotoff Dance School run their classes from here, the courts are obviously used by various community groups and yoga and other activities take place at the centre.
Brown Park had a face lift not too long ago and now looks more vibrant and a bit more 2012. The old youth centre that was on the premises has been removed and the complex now has a more open and inviting feel to it.
The re-​creation of Brown Park has made an already great recreation centre even better.
