Well, now I can say I did speed dating once, and it was fun!
To be fair, I wasn’t that into it. I bought one of these Ouffer vouchers months ago and then I was totally «into it», but I had a trip overseas planned and thought it would be just my luck to meet someone I really wanted to get to know and then have it go nowhere because I was out of the country for 2 months.
So now I just did it to see what it was about and because I didn’t want my Ouffer voucher to expire, lol. I know, I have such a great attitude about this stuff. It’s amazing that I’m stll single.
I thought the venue was a bit dingy. Our host was lovely. Everyone I met was super nice and down to earth. I love champagne, so the unlimited bubbly was great. I don’t wanna make mean comments about «the talent», lol. No, I don’t really have any mean comments about the guys. I had some great conversations. There was no love at first sight, haha.
The funniest part is, the other girls were great and I got a few numbers and we’re planning to hang out, haha! WINNING!
I have a friend who does speed dating in New York and she met someone who took her to Paris! And she didn’t even sleep with him! I KNOW! HOW COME I NEVER MEET ANYONE WHO FLIES ME TO PARIS?
(I totally would sleep with THAT guy!)
Maybe my expectations were a little high… *sniff*
