Food was good. However the service was appalling, took a long time after entrees, then brought out half the mains only to tell us at this point that they had run out of two of the remaining dishes and did we want to order something else. Left the rice for the dishes that weren’t available out so that when replacements came the rice was cold. Very little in the way of an apology, actually had to drag it out of them. Took the items off the bill and removed some drinks but only after we had to ask for this. There as a group of 8, ruined the evening.

Pan-Asian restaurant on the Fitzroy strip in St. Kilda, around the corner from our hotel the Prince. Simple yet stylish decoration, clearly new. We had a delicious chargrilled marinated chicken with some peanut sauce and also a fried chicken dish with interesting spices. I asked and indeed this place is run by Malaysians, and from home(in the USA) we know that Malaysians do pan-Asian well as in their country they have Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisines. We will probably eat there again before we leave Melbourne. Prices were reasonable by Australian standards, $ 15-$ 20 for the regular mains and $ 20-$ 25 for the very large«mains to share».
