Great breakfast had here and quick friendly service. Poached eggs perfect. My daughter’s pancakes, she tells me, were fantastic! Maybe just need to fix that front door to stop the arctic breezes from coming in when it’s opened!

I cam to 2 Doors Down just after it opened for their trivia night, warm and cosy on a winters night I was instantly at ease walking inside 2 Doors Down and spotting my friends who had already snagged a table and were ordering dinner, thanks for waiting guys! Just so happened Monday night is $ 12 Parma night, needless to say we all opted for the traditional chicken dish. The parma itself was huge! I couldn’t even finish the whole thing, chips and salad on the side it was very satisfying. The trivia was a lot of fun, the questions were well prepared and relevant to our age bracet. I have been to some trivia nights where the questions have been near impossible to answer and there ends up being one table of slightly older knowledgeable ladies and gentlemen who end up answering everything! 2 Doors Down was not like this, they had different themes as well as drawing and celebrity spotting questions. They also had mid quiz incentives like a round of beers to the first correct answer, we were lucky enough to score that one. The staff are fun and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing, everything you want for a mid week catch up.

Is anything better for a Sunday morning hangover than a big, delicious breakfast? Well, maybe a sleep in. But then after you sleep in, definitely a big delicious breakfast. Breakfast here is available until 4pm, and I would definitely reccomend the eggs benedict here, or for those who like mushrooms the Brekky bruschetta, washed down with a latte that only an Italian or a Melbournian can appreciate. They do lunch and dinner too, though I ve never been for that. But judging by their breakfast, and by the little cake thingys on display that I more often than not take with me to go, they dont do much wrong. It can get busy in the mornings here particularly on the weekends, so make sure you come early, or be prepared for a short wait.
