On occasion i visit this restaurant but sadly the quality of the food going downhill. I had rice with no meat dish to go with only lentil curry. The salad bar, the soup and the desert pretty average. Softdrinks and coffee are included in the the price. The price is only reasonable for the lunch only. Remember that this restaurant is for 18+ only, no children. P. s. Avoid the coffee and the vegetable buns.

You either love a buffet or your indifference to it. Let me say that I am mostly indifference to buffets so take my words with a grain of salt. I’ll try to be unbiased as much as I can Pro — Kids eat free on public holiday, which is why we thought we’d try Kitchen Workshop(however note that Public holiday charge is over $ 40 per adult). –There is a variety of dessert and mostly the servings are always topped up and the choices on offer is plenty. there is something for everyone, one of our favourite was the beautiful Pavlova. Other choices include chocolate fountain, various mousse, asian dessert, puddings and cakes. –The Asian food bar is excellent with some unusual buffet offerings as well as kids favourites, a variety of dishes that are hot, tasty, fresh and regularly topped. –Salad bar, Soup bar, Noodle bar, Roast bar, Prawn and Oyster bar, name your poison –Soft drinks and instant coffees are included in the price. –Tables and plates cleared away regularly and promptly and front cashier is very friendly, offering people a look around before deciding if they want to stay Cons — Drinks does not include juices or Café style coffee. Great if you love soft drinks, not so great for those who don’t. — Oyster and Prawns are limited to half dozen/a few hundred grams of serving per adult. Even Star City Casino buffet in Sydney is more generous than that. — This purely Depends on personal taste, but the 4 of use found ourselves walking past most of the offerings and only finding about 2⁄3 dishes each that looked to our taste. We tried most of the dessert but didn’t find many of the dishes too interesting. –Staff service is inconsistent, some were friendly others were very very grumpy. All in all, buffet is always a good value if you feel up for a big meal, the food seems to be fresh. Make sure to check the price before you go as they seem to have different pricing and offers most night.

If your coming here be prepared to eat. Because this all you can eat buffet really showcases alot of great food. I need to learn to control myself when I come here, because it is easy to get to excited and over spoil yourself. All you can eat, Dinner, dessert, softdrink from mon-thurs is around $ 33. Its a good deal. And there is alot of great food around. I got mixed reviews on everyones thoughts that we attended with, some people liked it some didnt. I myself enjoyed, but at no rush to go back anytime soon.

Don’t expect top quality food to be served here, but $ 21.50 for all you can eat buffet, they’re worth it.

A buffet is great, but if the food isn’t always at its freshest, then it can be disappointing. That’s what happened at Kitchen Workshop, too much dry food on offer. I think your dining experience will depend on what time of the day or night you go, which will determine the freshness of the food. The most outstanding part of the experience was the desserts, so many to choose from and all fresh and yummy.

Great buffet if you dont mind watching the oldies! I came here on a work lunch with the guys and was treated by my WONDERFUL boss for completing a few big projects that had gone through my team. Everything that was served seemed to be quite fresh and ranged from asian cuisines to aussie meat pies! A few tips on eating at a buffet… — Don’t eat carbs. They fill you up. — Stay away from softdrink. It causes inappropriate burping. — If its a work lunch make sure you finish it off with a coffee otherwise a 3pm food coma will set in!

A great restaurant. It is a all-you-can-eat but worth it. The food is top notch quality.

Ooooh I love a good buffet — and a cheap one too! Kitchen Workshop is a great spot, that I feel is kind of a hidden gem in Melbourne. I had certainly never come across it before I looked on the Crown Casino Website, but as soon as I did I made a reservation. The room is light and bright, and filled with so many diferent food options, including Asian, a carving station, Seafood, fresh pastries, and of course my favourite, dessert! The food is quite good for the prices, and is fresh ie. it hasnt been sitting there for hours upon hours. The other great thing is that all the buffets are manned, so if you have any questions or would like anything on particuar, the staff are on hand to help you out. A perfect inexpensive buffet, great for families.
