Nice selection of over– hyped designer home wares, and they update almost weekly so there’s always something nice and new to see. The former site of Mondo Luce, the ultra cool designer Specialist lighting boutique, I’ve a feeling it’s owned and operated by the same company but I’ve never asked. Mondo Luce moved a few doors up the road. Both always have interesting windows. They deal with the real McCoy so expect to pay a pretty penny for anything. But they do carry sought after designers such as Jonathan Adler vessels, besides more handmade limited runs of functional and objects d’art. A good place to see the latest in trends. For such a small space there really is a lot to view. The staff generally will leave you alone until you are ready to place an order or approach them with questions.

Who says chic furniture and homeware has to cost an arm and a leg? Some people have said that Exhibit looks very expensive and as such, they refused to even go in. I’m not one to be intimidated easily and so I ventured inside to have a look at this chock-a-block store. And I’m glad I did. Exhibit certainly lives up to its name, with so much to see and browse that you’ll need a bit of time, even though the store is not that large. Price wise: you’re paying for the quality and unique pieces that you will not find in other stores. And i’m a huge believer in the mantra: if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys! If you’re looking for that something special to compliment your home with — such as coloured vases, woven poufs, cheeky chandeliers in bold colours, decadent cushions and, great looking furniture pieces, pop into Exhibit today. It also stocks a good range of Studio Italia lighting and other designer brands.
