I ordered a complete sushi roll box($ 17 + $ 7 delivery) — the sushi was nice, but I was very disappointed with the size of the sushi pieces contained in the box. I expected they would at least be half-sized rolls, but they were mini pieces. I don’t think I will order from here again, as I do not feel that I got what I paid for.

I came here in april 2016 while on vacation in Melbourne. I ordered salon and tuna nigiri, edamame, miso soup and the seared toro special. I loved everything that I ordered. The seared toro was one of the best sushi dishes I have ever had in my life. It was bursting with flavor. I highly recommend it if it is still on the specials menu. They give out wonderful little cups of green tea when you dine in. Great experience! If you’re looking for sushi in melbourne give it a try.

I enjoy the Salmon Complete rolls and the red hot tuna. Would give this 4 stars if the price was not so high. Best sushi I’ve found so far for the south melbourne area and fast delivery. Msg me if you’ve found better as the best sushi I’ve had by far is still in Vancouver!

Have to say that I have not been this impressed by takeaway in a long time. My partner and I ordered from here tonight after realising that we were both slightly to jet-lagged to deal with cooking. Food turned up quickly, was presented immaculately and really was genuinely delicious. Highly recommend the inside out roles — though if you are after an assortment of sides things can get on the pricey side very quickly. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

This is pretty good actually. pricey but and not very filling, though the dishes/food on offer is quite good. There’s little sushi packs such as the fiery tuna, or whatever it was called, and little mini Ramen bowls with fresh made broth. They were actually quite decent. There’s also an extensive menu of which you can order, but in essence, this place is much like the good olé American high school cafeteria arrangement; trays of food are collected checked through a server and then eaten. There’s heaps of options such as the inside out rolls, rice paper sushi, classic and nigiri. Little made up sets of sushi and combinations are available to choose too. They have a pretty decent and lesser known selection of high qaulity sake’s and beer’s before, most of which I haven’t seen before, and flavoured umeshu’s and other fruity Japanese spirits and liqueurs. A lot of these I’m wanting to try, particularly, this specialty beer that cost around $ 18 or so. This place is more for snacking, light lunches and healthy eating choices really, and as things in balance go, it’s not really such a bad thing.

This place just opened up recently and my partner and I tried out their take away option. All I really have to say is WOW! I’m very impressed by how quick the delivery and the presentation of the food. Fresh delivered sushi is really hard to come by and I really hope it keeps the quality. We loved our first try that we tried it a second time but this time their customer service came through. We called in because menulog wasn’t allowing us to order and realized that they actually were closed already. The lady on the phone said she could still take our order and do one last delivery! The food was just as good and timely! 4⁄5 stars only because the pricing is higher than I’d like but to be fair everything in Melbourne is quite expensive.
