Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to visit Voyage! Our server was lovely and very helpful. The coffee was good and the food was tasty. We had a great time only a couple of things to work on to make this place 5 star — The entry and getting a seat was a bit hectic, there were people coming in from 4 directions trying to get a seat or pay the bill, maybe they should keep these two things separate. The toilets were in need of an update.

Visited Voyage Kitchen for a mid week breakfast with a friend. We got table quickly. Service was great and food came out quickly. Coffee was the tasty. There are lots of seating options, indoor, outdoor or alfresco. Menu had loads of variety. Décor is nice. The best only thing is with this coastal café is you can’t see the sea. Voyage in s on the ground floor and the view is obstructed by the bushes lining the coastal walk path across the road. Maybe it’s different from other seats but I couldn’t see it. I look forward to going back! I had the veggie patch Breaky. Delish!

Voyage is one of my favourite places to hit for breakfast! It always has a relaxed environment and the food is always fresh! Today I rocked up ready to order my usual(although I’ve only been there 3 times over the past few years) the Voyage breakfast board only to be told that they no longer have it on the menu! I was so disappointed! I ended up getting the Norma’s Salsa, adding bacon of course, and it was hearty and filling. Although it could have done with a zingy dressing for the tomatoes and spinach like a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. My Long Mac was delicious and I even ordered one to take away. All in all, Voyage always delivers and this was no exception. I just hope they bring back the breakfast board.

Still one of my favourite places for breakfast. They have a beautiful view of the beach, are are always so busy but it rarely takes that long to get seated and their staff are lovely. I love their pancakes, they are delicious but aren’t sickly sweet like others and use vanilla mascarpone which I enjoy much more than cream or ice cream especially in the morning. My friend had the Norma’s salsa with a side of bacon which she very much enjoyed. I will definitely be back again.

After a short wait, or sometimes if you’re lucky or early enough you can snag a table right away, I’m always satisfied and happy after brekkie at Voyage. The Norma’s Salsa and the Vegetarian Big Breakfast hit the mark consistently. And the coffee is a delight too along with their wait staff. Always coming back here for more!

Have been to Voyage for lunch twice and not been disappointed although some dishes are overpriced others are well priced so it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Menu is varied and I love it but they don’t have much for my husband which means we never really bother coming. We came for coffee recently and he said it was one of the worst coffees he has had. It tasted and smelled like instant coffee Whig is ridiculous when you are paying for 5 senses apparently. They do have instant coffee on the menu so I am left wondering if they give you instant even when you order 5 senses and rip you off. Considered complaining as he literally had two sips yet had to pay $ 5 for it. I had a smoothie which was nice but more like a juice and not very big for its $ 8.50 price tag. Will think twice before visiting again.

Good location overlooking the ocean with lots of seating available. We couldn’t reserve a table for ten people today as they don’t let you reserve, but the wait staff were very accommodating. Good choice on the breakfast and all day menu is available from the lunch menu. I chose the farmyard breakfast which had two sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast and hash brown. It was a huge portion. The flat white coffee was tasty, but not very strong. No split bills also.

Great food and what a a view! The staff were prompt and do their best to ensure that you get a seat when you arrive. They have a shared table for those who are in for just a coffee and a good in between service menu.

Three years on from my original review and Voyage still gets 5 stars, well done! I got there at 8:30am on a Wednesday morning in early January, I think a 9am arrival would have had me waiting for a table. The coffee was delicious and the service exceptional once again. I can’t go past Norma’s salsa and glad I stuck with a favorite. The feta is a beautiful consistency and flavour, the ciabatta just the right thickness and the eggs perfectly cooked. This place is consistently good and well worth a visit.

«The voyage to disappointment»… I have wanted to love voyager for a long time and once apon a time I think I might have… But that ship has sailed. I find myself here and saying to myself never again all to often. In the last 3 visits I have had experiences that have been less than cool. Hard poached eggs to the point that they were grey, parts of meals missing when paid for and then when requesting help… staff ignoring me and lengthy waits with no explanations. Farewell voyage

Having heard so much about this place and being situated right across from sorrento beach I had high expectations. Despite having a queue with Five couples ahead of us we were seated within fifteen minutes by a lovely waitress. The café has an open noisy Kitchen, a covered courtyard decked in interesting art, and lots and lOts of tables. I ordered an extra hot cappucino in a mug and my friend ordered a hot chocolate. We got the vego breakfast to share. The coffee was warm and tasted like instant coffee. My friends hot chocolate tasted worse than the one from seven eleven. We were very disappointed. The toast was tough and crunchy. The eggs were average. The homemade hash brown lacked flavour. The best thing about the meal were the pesto mushrooms. The pesto was great. The waitress accidentally charged us for two additional coffees and didn’t know how to subtract the overcharged value. Sigh.

Nice food, friendly service and a great seaside location. I had the Norma’s salsa with a side of hash browns — delicious! I love a nicely cooked poached egg(believe me, so many places mess this up!) and this was cooked to perfection. Hash browns look homemade and taste great. Coffee tasted a tad burnt today but I’ve had coffee before here and it’s been very nice.

Always consistent with good service. You’ll have to book a table to guarantee a good spot especially early mornings and weekends. For the first time today I had the wheat grain salad with tenderloin. I highly recommend this dish, so healthy and the chicken tenderloin us cooked to perfection with yummy pumpkin and grains to add to the salad !

My boyfriend Steve surprised me with. Come on. lets go out for breaky !! :) This lovely open restaurant, sit in or outside. The view of the ocean is best outside, as you watch on peeps drive by showing off there well spent revamped classic n modern vehicle’s, while on the other side of the road keep fit peeps pounding the pavement running n walking by. Inside we sat and greeted with constant friendly service. Steve enjoyed a traditional full cooked breaky as l had a yumee muesli fruit yogurt. Juices, Tea, Coffee to your hearts content. I loved the outside nook. Part of the front counter restaurant for the public outside walking by or sit out. From toasties to croissants and more. Cues are constant and busy. Parking is also available across the road as there are only a few selected Parking bays around the restaurant. If not Breaky maybe Lunch !!

Fast service, friendly staff and the food is delicious. Right on the coast with a view of the beach/ocean, great feel to the place. Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Definitely get the buttermilk pancakes, absoutely scrumptious!

Fast, friendly, and scrumptious Was having a bad cooked breakfast craving on Sunday morning, and was looking for somewhere different and slightly further a field. Ended up at Voyage Kitchen, and was enticed by the look of their menu, and the fact they did and All Day Breakfast — not stopping at 11:30 or some weird hour like most other places in the Northern Suburbs. Small hassle with parking dispensed with, it was barely a wait of 10min before a table came free. Seated quickly, menus perused, and orders made within about 5−6min after that. Voyage has been around for over 11yrs now, and that shines through. A keen observer can tell that they’ve continued to build up experience year on year, and the result of this is a pretty well oiled and finely tuned operation, which translates in everything they do. The quality of the meal was impressive, especially the home made hash browns — which had I known were that good before hand, I would have ordered at least four extra of them. Everything tasted wonderful, flavoursome, and each shone through in their own right. And, the highlight for me — perfectly poached eggs. This is something I find that a lot of breakfast places stuggle to do well. Voyage hit it, with the eggs perfectly cooked, and the entire yolk was runny, not a single part that had solidified and gone pale yellow. If it wasn’t for the fact I had four hours ahead of me fixing a friends computing equipment, there’s a Lamb Ragu Pappardelle which I would have happily stuck around for to have for lunch. Absolutely worth a visit if you’re up Sorrento way and looking for a great place to eat. Good to know: Website states they don’t accept reservations on the weekend, but it was obvious there are some people who’d reserved tables. Best to give them a call and try your luck if planning ahead.

Love this place, just what Hillarys needed. Great service and tasty breakfast options with plenty of beautiful juices to choose from. One catch: there is always a line on weekends.

I was impressed by Voyage, great food and not too pretentious! I went there for dinner and my pasta was absolutely amazing. I also admit openly that I had food envy of the other two diners as well. I will definitely return, my only negative is parking. Why is there never any parking!

~ Best breakfast in Perth! Try the Norma’s Salsa w a side of bacon — yummers! :) Also they make some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had — you can’t beat them! Quick tip — get there by 8.45am on a Sat/Sun and you’re almost guaranteed to walk straight in, but by 9 it’s super busy and you may need to wait. BUT the wait is def worth it :)

I’m inclined to agree with Laura D; Voyage is slipping. On Easter Monday, I fronted up at the take away window in my togs with my $ 5 in hand, for a small take away coffee to take with me along my coast walk. It’s what I do. After waiting a whole ten minutes(yes, not an exaggeration) I ordered my usual«double shot skinny in smallest cup» and was told by the grumpy girl«fivetwenny». Pardon me? Are you telling me it’s $ 5.20 for the smallest cup of coffee, albeit with two shots? «Public Holiday Surcharge» was barked at me, while a finger stabbed towards a small blackboard sign with that information — they were charging 15% on top of their already high prices. So I smiled, gestured to my obvious lack of pockets in my swimsuit and held up my $ 5 note a little higher and asked«Could you please spot me the 20c extra?». Without even blinking, she just grouched«I’m taking the extra shot off. FOURSIXTY». I was so shocked at the lack of good will that I just meekly proffered my note and scarpered around the corner with the change to wait(about 10 more minutes) for my coffee. OK, so I am not saying that she *should* have let me off the 20c, but I am suggesting it would have been a very nice gesture of good will. Likewise, the bloke standing next to me *could* have offered me the extra 20c, if he had it. I know I do this when strangers next to me have a shortfall, of up to a couple of dollars. But that’s just me. So, a bad experience, still great coffee, but yes, since the expansion, it’s all become a little chaotic and the prices, well, they’ve always been steep. It is great food, and you know it’s fresh and most times, the wait staff are really pleasant. I guess grouchy pants was just having a bad day. But it did leave a sour taste in my mouth.
