Three cheers for my local gelato bar who just won two big awards and are getting slammed by the hungry hordes in response — CHAMPIONGELATO&CHAMPIONSORBET of Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show 2016 — Chocolate Jaffa Gelato, Stewed Plum with Cinnamon & Cloves Sorbet. Gelato to die for. Creamy, not too sweet, and an amazing range of flavors. While not the most adventurous choice on offer(no feta for example), the burnt caramel tastes amazing. The staff are also really great — friendly and interested in their customers. Add to that flavour list — chocolate rum baba! Bellingen don’t do all the theatrics or trendy flavors that you get in other stores and that make them such social media hits, but if you want the real thing, this is it.
