Great food! It’s a shame about the customer service(or lack off). One staff member in particular was extremely unapproachable and very rude. We’ve resorted to ordering online so we spend as little time as possible in the store.

Really excellent Indian food. They really try to be gluten free and have a lot of options, but when it comes to more than one allergy you get stuck. Still worth a visit!

Chutney Mary’s in Rockingham might actually be better than the incredible mothership restaurant in Subiaco. I’ve been to the Subi location on countless occasions so, several months ago after a boating expedition out of Rockingham, I eagerly responded in the affirmative when my friends asked if Indian sounded like a good option for dinner. The dishes taste just the same as the wonderful creations from the Subiaco location, and the staff informed me that they would be happy to make up other dishes that do not appear in the menu, such as Shahi Paneer(a big favourite of my wife’s). The Rockingham store, due to its popularity, shares some of Subiaco’s issues with space — it’s a bit chaotic and cramped, however I appreciated the slightly more logical layout as well as the better airconditioning/ventilation than the sometimes stifling restaurant in Subi. At the end of the day, though, if the words«Chutney Mary’s» are over the door, you can’t go wrong.
