Average food and coffee the chef is so loud and disruptive can’t concentrate and always leave with a headache.

I walked past here at exactly the right time. I had traveled in the wrong direction and was getting mega stressed out, not to mention hungry. Serving food until 3, I got a fresh OJ to start with — just how I like it. And so had smashed avocado and poached eggs. Presentation was lovely, hollandaise sauce was good and overall it was a great lunch(a late one at that!). The service was excellent, can’t say a bad word about it. The atmosphere is spot on too, music at a suitable volume and style. Décor not OTT but chic. I’d come here again if I was passing by — I live a fair way from here though!

This place always serves good solid coffee, the staff are friendly & their freshly baked muffins are to die for. They are always fruit based muffins, what I wouldn’t give to see a choc chip one in there. I think the coffee prices are a tad high but at least I know the coffee is always good. The café itself is funky, good music playing & wonderful smells throughout. I am yet to eat here as nothing on the menu really jumps out at me but I am happy to walk that little further for my coffee every now & then.

A new café has opened in Richmond. My understanding is that it from the people at 65degrees. I think the coffee is acceptable they use 7 degrees. The gentleman making the coffee seems to be always there and consistent. May be it will help you understand if I say i usually drink long black coffee and my friends would say I’m fussy about coffee. The girl serving this morning insisted on writing on the lids which I don’t like as the smell the pen impacts on the taste of the coffee. The gentleman making the coffee arrived and said there is no need to do so he could remember the order. The muffins are amazing so far no chocolate in sight. I’m not a fan of chocolate in muffins. I have not eaten there yet but am looking forward to it, the food looks very good; hard at the moment the house is full of hot cross buns and I seem to be living on them. The best part about his place for me is the walking distance.
