Not sure what everyone is raving about. I don’t think these people know what ramen is supposed taste like. It’s weak and cheap. I live 5 mins walk away but will drive elsewhere cause it’s quite average here. Sorry guys.

We were craving for some Asian cuisine, after a week of western food. The missus wanted Japanese Ramen, and we looked up at Unilocal.Found this restaurant, and decided to give it a shot. When we entered the restaurant, two things greeted us in further: the friendly waitress and the sumptuous aroma of the food being cooked inside. We took our time for the order, and we’ve decided to go with the Negi-Miso Ramen and the classical Tonkotsu Ramen. We even ordered gyoza as an appetizer. While waiting for the food to be served, we sat near the window and basked in the busy Bridge Street. Once our food arrived, we took a sip in the soup… And that was it. Delicious, thick broth, full of flavor in a big bowl. Gyoza was delish as well, but the main attraction is the Ramen itself. Looks very filing, and added with some chilli flakes, it’ll make your day even spicier. As what the missus said, «It’s like a sauna in here!» Ambience is good for a quick lunch or dinner, and the setting makes you feel like you’re in Japanese restaurant in Japan. Would I return here? Indeed I will.

An amazing ramen place and hidden gem in Richmond. While it’s situated right on Bridge road, it’s unassuming little spot can easily be missed. Great service, fast and friendly and big portions. Fantastic soup and noodles and plenty of toppings that are well paired. Soup tastes really authentic and they have specials for entrees that you can have too so you can be a bit more creative than the standard gyoza + ramen combo. A bit of a smaller place and decked out quite simply but a stop well worth it. If you like ramen and you’re in the area, make an effort to get here!

Fun fact: I found this place on my handy dandy Unilocal app! Ambiance: One of the only real negatives this spot has is that it’s pretty small. Don’t come here with a large group or prepare to the disappointed. It’s really popular as well, so expect a decent amount of people. I’d say come with 3 people max so you don’t have to wait because my group just barely found some stools on the bar-table at the side. Customer Service: Positive! The lady who served us kept smiling and was very friendly. Additionally, I was expecting our food to come out pretty slow because of how crowded it was, but it came pretty fast. I would say 7 minutes approximately, which isn’t a bad for a decent, filling meal. Food: Delicious and well-priced! You can get a large bowl of Shoyu Ramen for $ 10! Pretty good deal if you ask me. I’m also well impressed with their large portions — expect to be full and get the most value out of your meal. I had the Beef Curry, which came with Rice and a large Salad, all of which really hit the spot and comes highly recommended by yours truly! — Perfect for a quick lunch/dinner. Nothing fancy, but still delicious, enjoyable, and good service to boot!

I used to live around the corner from these guys, they were the«go to» take away place for me. Huge portions, tasty food and cheap, often a hard combination to find. The best value here is the selection of Japanese noodle soups, the servings are huge, you will not finish the bowl. I’m not keen on the curry they do, just not my thing. The spring rolls are phenomenal.
