Really interesting place. A couple of the meals were inventive and different — good to try but not nessisarily something id order again — and some were just good food cooked well — like pork and slaw or steak and chips. a little pricey but not over the top for the experience. Worth a try!

This discrete little restaurant that looks like a café on Bridge Rd hill in Richmond could be easily missed but what it hide is one of the best meals in Melbourne at a very reasonable price. The menu is a collection of small items small and large plates that we choose to share. There was not a time on the menu that was not at least 9 out of 10. We chose to share and they encourage to share so that we could get a taste of a wider range of options. It would be hard to say what was best when everything we tried was really amazing but you should not go past the the made from scratch boudin blanc pop dog, the crab or the squid ragu. The service was amazing the suggestion were very interesting. The request for bread seam to take some time but when we asked we were informed that it was being heated. When it arrived the bread was amazing and great for soaking up the sauce on several of the dishes. We ask for bread after receiving our second or third dish and the plate was left even though other food arrive until the bread arrived to soak up the sauce. This was a true five star experience in a surprise location. It is only open for dinner and we did not drink. But truly a not to be missed food experience in Melbourne.
