I do quite a bit of Pilates, but I wanted to switch it up a bit and thought that KX would be good since it advertised itself as a combo of cardio, resistance, and Pilates. The beginner class was mostly reformer work, and the teacher focused a lot on butt/hammies(which my droopy little butt desperately needed) and arms. I thought it was a solid workout, but I don’t know if the teacher’s style worked for me. She didn’t seem to give a lot of guidance or corrections(and I’m used to being corrected A LOT), and I think she didn’t really bring a lot of energy into the class. I think that would be especially challenging if you were new to Pilates. I would try it again, but I might go with a different instructor next time.
