Café Azul

My very favourite place for breakfast. Their Huevos Rancheros breakfast is brilliant — scrambled eggs surrounded by a hot tortilla and topped with avocado and a gorgeous salsa of tomato, corn and herbs. I was overseas for a year and this was the first place I headed when I returned to Melbourne and the food I missed most! Coffee is great and consistent too. What’s not to love.

This a local café we often frequent for breakfast. The food is very good and has a a bit of an American influence. The great thing for us is the wide selection of vegetarian that makes it great for bring the Kids
This is a great café with indoors, out the back court yard and option to sit in the street and bring your dog.
This is a café that requires you to pay on ordering your food and it supports mobile PayPal to pay for your orders whether coffee, tea or food.
I always drink tea here as I am very fussy about coffee.
Overall this a great local café and has an interesting breakfast and lunch menu.

I have only ever been here for coffee which is good coffee not great, not bad just good. The place is always packed on the weekends in saying that it is very small but still busy. The staff always seem like they are in a rush and it is very rare I get a smile out of them, which for me is a big turn off in any business, customer service without a smile is bad customer service as far as I am concerned.
In saying all that I will continue to go here on occasion for coffee and eventually try the breakfast menu out so stay tuned.

Great breakfast and coffees. Stopped here nearly every Sat morning for 4 years and missing it

It has been so long since I have walked away from a breakfast venue and not needed to eat for the rest of the day but let me tell you I almost had to be rolled out!
As you walk in there is a case FULL of tasty things, you are greeted with big smiles and the smell of bacon. mmm bacon!
The inside is small and quaint but there is a heated courtyard out the back; this is where I will be spending some of my lazy summer days let me tell you!
Now if you know me you know that I am a foodtard. (GF among other things) they have «Jane’s» homemade gluten free bread.
Yum my mouth is salivating just thinking about it.
We ordered breakfast. I can’t remember the name of mine but I can describe it too you; GF cheesy toast and I mean cheesy, avocado, perfectly poached eggs, bacon, roquette and spicy salsa.
I just could not stop eating t was that good. I cleaned the plate.
Service friendly yet professional, price VERY good it will bankrupt you which is a nice change in this day an aged.
I look forward to setting out the back with a cheeky drink and the sun during summer!

Coffee was pretty good. Properly extracted and the correct temperature.
The homemade friands look amazing. The wife won’t let me get one though.
Breaky bruschetta looks amazing. Time to dig in!
That was super duper. Eggs were poached perfectly. The meal was fresh and delightful.

This place is great. The food is amazing and the coffee which is fair-​trade is delicious. I love how they use local and organic produce in their cooking. I also really like the retro wall paper they have and the service is very friendly.
My recommendations would be the rhubarb smoothie made with organic milk, yoghurt & honey. The hash brown breakfast is also a favourite of mine with a homemade muffin whilst I wait. If it’s cold out they make a good bowl of soup. If you don’t already have one, you can but a keep cup from here as well.
