Great burgers and a great location to sit outside and have a nice meal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It can be busy on friday or saturday nights

Amazing ribs that just fall off the bone. Generous portions as well and their burgers are so Juicy and a decent hand full. They also do a wicked milo shake that’s so thick it takes ages to drink. 10 out of 10 ribs and burgers.

Great good, great atmosphere. They have healthy salads or you can go for a burger and ribs. The steaks here are great at a decent price. Highly recommend the milo shake.

I have always been stoked with my experiences here. The food is great value, tasty, and FAST. the Best Of Both rocks my world. I’ve brought friends here and they’ve been impressed also. Good service, and never had problems getting a table. Dont know why people keep going to Rips & Rumps!

I didn’t really enjoy this place, but for some reason, i was really really hungry(and could’ve eaten my OWNASS) and ended up finishing my entire dish, so the food isn’t that bad. Its ribs and burgers, i mean, you can’t go wrong with that. But me being me, i order a chicken breast with cabbage salad at a Ribs and Burgers joint cz my ass and thighs doesnt have time for that! Ok i lie, the food here isn’t that bad, but 2 out of 5, i can admit, i’ve had better. I ordered the chicken and cabbage salad. i know, i’m a cray asian for ordering this at a Ribs and Burgers joint, but i wanted to watch my thighs that afternoon, give me a break! Chicken breast in general can be quite dry when cooked, thats why i try to NEVER attempt it lol It wasn’t the driest i’ve tasted but it WAS quite dry. I had to soak it in BBQ sauce just to get some sought of taste out of it. At that point, it was nice. The chicken came with a side of cabbage salad. I actually enjoyed this. It was nice. I wish the sauce/juice was a lot stronger in taste, but those pine nuts that were in there actually lifted the dish to awesomeness. I would actually like to come back to try their lamb burger. Lamb is my absolute fave(i’m actually on the hunt to find the best lamb burgers in sydney) so i’ll definitely be back to try it when i’m in the area again. Like the average person, i do like to go to a restaurant/café with a level of service. Someone that i can depend on when things are not quite right, someone to depend on to make my experience just that little bit better. At this restaurant, i don’t think you’ll get that. First of all, when i entered the restaurant with my mum, its not very clear that you have to order your food FIRST then grab a table, so i was a bit confused on what the process was. But i guess thats not what i like. When you order, they give you a bucket with a number on it with knives, forks, sauces, spoons, napkins and thats it. From that point forward, you have to get up and get everything yourself. There are runners who give you your food, but if you’re missing an extra fork, or an extra meal, or if there is something wrong with your meal, there’s no one you can really depend on because its mainly self-serve. Thats not to say that there was absolutely NOONE, but during busy times, its definitely hard to catch someone. So, another thing i didn’t like, while i was having lunch i heard one of the workers tell off a customer for not ordering first before being seated. The worker kept saying sorry you have to order first then seat blah blah… In my head i’m thinking, well first of all, there’s no service at the door for anyone to really tell you what you need to do first, i mean, its not rocket science, but you can’t blame the customer for seating down FIRST above all else. Secondly, what if there are no seats, on a very busy day and there is a long line. does that mean there is a slight possibility, you can order and your food comes out first before you find a seat, and therefore you’re eating while standing up? hmmmm. If there is a possibility i was to stand while eating, i wouldn’t even order in the first place and just go to the next café/restaurant, but as you step foot into that restaurant, you wouldn’t know the process. I wouldn’t stress about it, maybe i’m just thinking too much into it haha but being there especially during a busy time, i’m sure thats what would happen, so maybe take note, that if there is a long line, there are no seats, you will probably be eating standing up at this restaurant. Keep in mind, there is the option of ordering takeaway so if you are desperate for one of their bad boys, you can take it home with you! Not the worst restaurant i’ve been to but i have had better. Check out my photos anyway, my mum absolutely shoveled her burger down her throat! haha she’s a beast! enjoy xoxo

Tried there mini burgers, this place is good for a quick feed, was served fast and the food was good, nothing to brag about though. The chips were crunchy and thick(just the way I like) My issue was as I was eating the burger was too saucy,(never thought I’d ever complain about too much sauce!) but it just got everywhere! I’ll have to come back and try the ribs!

This is the second R&B joint I’ve been with the first being at The Star. A little disappointed about this one, maybe because it’s still new and they’re still finalising some internal issues? We got a seat quite quickly and after we got seated there was a queue — there’s also a sign that says DONOT get a seat before buying food, funny stuff. We ordered the Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs and Onion Rings. The beef ribs weren’t hot when it came out(the pork ribs were though) and I suspect it was sitting around waiting to be served. The onion rings were EPIC! Had some rosemary and large chunks of sea salt which gave it lots of flavour. Too bad the ribs lacked flavour; you can taste the BBQ but just wasn’t tangy enough. The guy serving the food was constantly telling the chips/onion ring lady what orders are next etc … which obviously accounted for missed/delayed orders and I overhead him saying a customer waited 45 minutes for their chips. *gulps* thank god that wasn’t us . Give it a few months and I’ll pay them another visit.
