Everyone up here on the Upper North Shore knows the sad story — a diner who tragically chose asparagus sauce at the old «Tables» restaurant and dispensed with the Royal taster.
Dietmar Sawyer then took over with Ad Lib. After investing in the worlds biggest «Under New Management» sign he kicked off a brief but wonderful period when the UNS could again boast a fantastic Bistro. Then it flamed out and we all returned to takeaway from Pizza Hut.
So, Lounge 10’47, the new contender.
Richo Tom and I went last night, without tasters. Someone had to, it’s been open for ages and I’ve yet to hear a thing about it?
Its very good food. The service is also very good. Its expensive. We had a pancake starter and it was… very good. Pork crepinette entrée also very good. I had the crab ravioli as a main, Tom had the rabbit pie and Richo a sirloin. Richo didn’t get a plate which was weird. Had to eat his dinner off a bit of wood. When did that start?
This place is very good. I’m sorry but thats it.
Its just not Ad Lib…
