Cafe Di Roma

We’ve found our new local Italian fix! We liked Café di Roma for its unpretentious décor — cosy & pleasant, but not requiring you to dress up too much on a Friday night after a long week when you can’t be bothered. Service was friendly & delivered with a charmingly authentic italian accent.
The cuisine was ultimate comfort food. Pizzas were crispy crusted and tasty, and a clean skin sparkling shiraz the perfect accompaniment. Panna cotta was home made, smooth, and silky textured.
2 pizzas, dessert, and wine came to $ 54. Good food, cosy, welcoming atmosphere & service, and all for a great price. What’s not to like? A solid 4 stars.

After having a friend go on, and on, and on, AND ON about pasta — and how amazing the pasta here was, I had to try it. I haven’t had the chance to pop into the store myself, but I was able to order via phone for delivery.
I had a few questions and they answered them all, the phone manner of the employee was superb.
I was quoted a delivery time of around 35 – 45 minutes but it came within 20. Super speedy delivery! The Delivery guy was equally as wonderful (and dare I say, cute?) If all their staff is like that, I’d recommend this place on that alone, but what we all want to know about is the food.
I ordered the pasta, and some garlic bread–
Generally, I don’t order pasta delivered, it gets cold and continues to cook in the foil packaging, making for sloppy pasta. However, the guys at Café Di Roma are doing it right, be it they cooked it a little over al dente before delivery or what — because the pasta when it arrived, wasn’t soggy at all. the Bologna sauce was a mixture of rich creamy tomato, and spiced beef– it was lovely. Not exactly the best pasta I have ever eaten, but definitely enough to warrant me coming back again, and wanting to try the other dishes the place has on offer, I am eying of their chicken pasta, pizza and a simply divine sounding Tirimasu!
The garlic bread wasn’t what I was expected, it was fluffy, and full, with garlic oil drizzled on it, despite it being wrapped up in foil, which did result in a few soggy pieces (comes with the territory of being delivered) it was delicious, and a wonderful compliment to the pasta.
I’ll have to return and update the review with my ventures into their pizza and dessert dishes! Wish me luck!

Wow, what can I say, I’ve driven past many times and always wondered what would lie within the doors of this pizza shop
And I can say it was fantastic, the pizza we ordered was ham cheese and chicken, all the Ingredients were all top quality and the pizza base was soft, yet crunchy and tasty,
i have also tried their gnocchi, ravioli, penne, lasagne’s and mushroom risotto, all with varying accompanying sauces over the last month or so, and I cannot recommend their pasta enough, it was great, the sauce had a great flavor but not over powering, their meatballs taste authentic and home made, and all the different sauces each have their own unique taste and flavor,
it is absolutely brilliant food and dare i say some of the best pasta ive ever eaten
I will be returning again!

Yeah it’s a pizza joint but what a joint it is! Pizza is yum and everything takes on a tasty flavour simply sitting at the table — as I drool waiting for my pizza. It’s a terrific place to meet up with family (plus kids) or friends and pig out. Some of you may be familiar with a wine called Lambrusco which was very popular in the 80’s, well it is here as well. I actually think it’s really nice with ice on any summers day lunch or dinner.
The décor is simple and understated but what it lacks in this area is certainly made up for in others. The pizza alone speaks for itself but there are other options to order like calzone, fish n chips, brushetta, risotto, pasta and more.
Fast, friendly service Italian style as food is a passion and when you eat it all, it’s a reward for all. No soggy base pizza here only the crispiest and freshest of toppings to choose from which no self proclaiming pizza lover can deny.
I have nothing further to say except it’s one of the best pizza places around and lucky you if you’re a local! They also have taking away for your eating pleasure.
