Great whiskey selection. Buffalo chicken was good, pork sliders were great. Jalapeño poppers were hot but delicious. Perhaps a selection of burgers would add more

I love this place. I love that its just around the corner from home. There is always a reason to call in especially when you have these amazing bites and drink available.
I love «Hazels Punch» — Krol Vodka, Hazelnut Liqueur, Passionfruit Syrup, Orange and Passionfruit Juice. The” Key Lime Pie” is also a winner as is majority of the menu. The food at White Oaks offers a true taste of the U.S. and you cant beat sitting back sipping on a cocktail listening to sounds of the Mississippi Delta Blues.
It’s a little southern, and a little western all at once.

I’ll tell you what Unilocalers, it was so damn refreshing to dine at White Oaks.
This little gem found on Greville street in Prahran is a perfect spot for a date night serving great cocktails and excellent food with a deep south theme.
We dined on the White Oaks tasting plate which had tasty pulled pork sliders, blue corn chips and salsa and a smoky tasty jambalaya.
The staff were very attentive, food was served in a timely manner and in general the place had a great feel to it.
I found this place to be such a great find because we simply don’t get those flavours here very much in Melbourne and it was so good to eat something different to the norm.
I highly recommend White Oaks, it’s great for a date or a group. Deep south flavours, cocktails and music!
