Missie CoCo

In my opinion it’s absolutely vital for a beautician to be an expert chatterbox with a good sense of humour. I mean, come on — they’re going to see you covered in wax or fake tan and more often than not in a compromising position, so you can’t really be too serious about that. That being said, they also have to be incredibly efficient, professional and compassionate, because it’s usually a damn uncomfortable experience. Missie CoCo is absolutely fantastic because it ticks all of these boxes and more!
Missie CoCo is in a cute little bungalow off of Chapel street, and from the second you walk through the door you’ll feel relaxed. You’re kind of wafted with scents of citrus as you walk down the hall to the front desk. Seriously, I’m not kidding — this place smells absolutely amazing. They have a great array of beauty products to check out while you wait for your appointment, and they’ll usually offer you some water as well.
The ladies here offer all kinds of services, from make-​up to waxing, and I’ve never heard a single bad thing about any of them. They have great bedside manner and you always end up walking out of there feeling confident and ready to face the world! I usually see the same woman each visit, but occasionally she’s been away so I’ve had to see someone else, and every single beautician has been outstanding.
