Zing Backpackers Hostel

This was my first time at a hostel outside the U.S. so I don’t have much to compare it with. However, overall experience was good.
Facilities were clean and there were no signs of cockroaches or anything. I was reading a lot of reviews from other hostels and that seemed to be one of the major problems.
I was a solo traveler and actually booked a single room which was nice but the wi-​fi didn’t reach my room. Wi-​fi seems to only work within a short distance. Wasn’t really in the hostel most of the time… just a place for me to sleep. Very practical if you just need a cheap option. Staff is friendly so don’t hesitate to ask any questions if needed.
Keep in mind there are no elevators. So if you’re looking to book a quiet room this will probably be far and require some stairs.
Location is good. Train station is only a block down but within same street. There’s also a bus on bayswater that will take you to Circular Quay. There are tons of restaurants as well so you won’t ever starve.
