Fantastic service– they really take the time to analyse how you run to make sure you’re getting the best shoe for you.
If you’re in the market for new shoes they’ll analyse your gait on a treadmill and then have you run each time until they’re satisfied that you’re in the proper shoe. I really appreciated that Gerald (friendliest guy in the world) took thirty minutes finding the right shoe– I feel like most places definitely wouldn’t have that much time.
Highly recommend if you’re a casual jogger up to an elite athlete!

Run, run, run, run,…to run away from you… is all that I could do… That is why, dear running store staff and all those select customers who choose to run with them, I haven’t gone running with you all on the standard Wednesday nights (yes, I knew where to meet, right at the front of the store at closing time) like I told the owner I would because right now I’m eating cake (ONLY because there are a lot of birthdays and weddings and engagements and graduations and hula parties on my end. That is ALL).
But I love your store. I am a runner and I am so grateful for your bias because I’m not here to buy recreational shoes. I’m not here to buy Nike shoes. Or Lawn Bowling shoes. I’m here to buy running shoes. And I want to talk to a runner (which the owner is). And I want someone to recognize that my really battered shoes are as a result of my dedication to the sport — not because of any personal hardships (which the owner did). And I’m really thankful for my Asics shoes. They weren’t my favourite ones from all the shoes on the wall but you made the right call. As only a runner could do. So Thank You as both Tim Freedman and Bön Jovi (in a very different song) once sang.
