I swear I could buy a brand new car if it weren’t for this place!!! I actually look forward to going to work so that I can«accidentally» walk past kit cosmetics and«look» at the new products! Some women love clothes, others shoes… I am a cosmetics woman! Ladies if you need a pick me up eyeshadow or a lippy to stand out, visit the girls in Enex 100! The manager there is the sweetest and she got me hooked on to makeup. Price is a bit high at times but the value is outstanding so you quickly forget! Please kit build a small boutique near Ellenbrook!!!

I love my cosmetics, I love splurging on cosmetics, I have professed my love for Mecca once before. But Kit… Kit is just a little bit more fun. You just wanna walk right in and play with the testers! I believe Mecca and Kit are affiliated in some way? Perhaps. I don’t know, if they are then Kit is definitely the cooler, younger sister. There’s so much to love about this place. The visual merchandising is so much fun, and while Kit stock high end brands, they won’t break the bank. Well, actually, I guess that depends on how much restraint you have. As mentioned by Camilla P, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The girl who served me was so sweet and easy to talk to, we could have actually been friends. She went out of her to way to greet and serve everyone, while simultaneously helping/talking to me about brow pencils. What a champion. Naturally, I didn’t leave empty handed. I never do. I wish I could drop in more often but, alas, the city is just a wee bit out of my way. If there were another store outside of the city(NOR, perhaps?) I’d be a regular.

As Camilla said, apart from Kit and Mecca there aren’t too many places to buy good quality make up in the city(except for maybe David Jones and Myer). What keeps me coming back to Kit every time is the super friendly staff and the easy layout of the store. I find the staff at Mecca can at times be condescending and the shop floor seems just that little bit too big and empty, but Kit has none of these problems. I’ve come here to get my make up done for plenty of events and have been impressed(and complimented by others) every time. They have a huge range of products which would otherwise have to be bought online. Perhaps the only downside is the price, but it’s to be expected when the make up is such good quality and often times imported. And it’s nowhere near expensive enough to ever make me stop shopping here.

Aside from Mecca Cosmetics, Kit Cosmetics is the place to shop when in need of beauty supplies. In my opinion, I find this store a lot more welcoming than the former. Their visual merchandising is A+, with the store easy to navigate and products produced so enticing you’re unlikely to leave empty handed. The girls who work here also delightful, and only to happy to demonstrate correct eyebrow pencil application! They stock Kit Cosmetics(obviously), Jemma Kidd(that chick from Big Brother, remember her? Her make up is actually quite good. No, really), Benefit, Korres, Bare Minerals, Dermatologica, Origins, and loads more brands that you usually have to shop online for. Unfortunately, because most of this stuff is important from the US, it’s not too cheap.
