Bianca started off as a naturopath and has always had a flair for putting together incredible gift hampers for family and friends. When she decided to share her sense of style with the rest of us, Ginger B was born. Her discerning taste and her passion for food, homewares and eclectic gift items is evident throughout the shop. Ginger B purports to have gifts for the green and gorgeous and they certainly deliver on their promise. Green means they are local, organic, sustainable, eco products. I love the fact that local producers are supported and the fact that all products of such a high caliber. You may wish to purchase some of the individual products or one of the prepared gift boxes. The gift boxes are original and all the products in them work well together to tell a story. There is a card which accompanies them which describes the contents and you may choose to add your own little card as well.
On my recent visit I bought a set of Robert Gordon latte cups which are so lovely that I am sure I will enjoy using them for years to come! The food products are superb and I can vouch for the delicious Bettenay’s nougat both the cranberry and the Yahava coffee are so good you won’t want to share it! The Golden Whisk Honey and Spice flavoured nuts in a jar are popular because they are fresh, crunchy and ever so tasty, such a bargain at just $ 9. At the counter I picked up some sweet looking, Golden Whisk salted caramel star lollipops which will be useful for dressing up a gift or placed in a stocking. Loved the Ginger B boards, ever so popular now, but these one are made from sustainable plantations. You can buy one of these signature bamboo boards wrapped with Bahen and Co chocolate and locally roasted coffee for $ 40 or just on its own. All gifts are lovingly wrapped in brown paper and tied up with classic black ribbon with bold white stitching, making them look ever so chic! The ribbon is good quality reusable ribbon, which I find adds a nice touch.
