Beautiful clothing. Must be doing something right been a part off the Perth fashion scene for quite a few years.

If you didn’t know it was there it would be fairly easy to miss Eldorado. I am glad that I didn’t miss it. Perth seems to be lacking mens clothes that are not for teenagers or people looking forward to retirement. El Dorado stocks and supports some great Australian brands like Mr Simple, Nique and Nobody. It is a pity that the prices are a little on the high side, with a basic shirt setting up back nearly a $ 100. Like most retail stores they do have regular sales, which are worth looking at.

Tucked away on Murray Street behind blue-rimmed doors, you would probably miss Eldorado if you didn’t know where it was. It caught my eye the other day with the female mannequin wearing what I would this summer; high waisted denim shorts, a striped open back top and awesome sunglasses. So I decided to make my way in and was pleasantly surprised by the diversity in this shop. Eldorado stocks everything from jeans, chic casual wear(both male and female), quirky little pieces of jewellery, hats and the best part; it has a huge collection of sunglasses(the mannequins are usually wearing the best ones). With the rapid increase of commercial stores opening in the city, independent shops like Eldorado are beginning to disappear and make their way to more arty areas like Northbridge and Mount Lawley. It’s good to see that some are still doing so well, so if you’re looking for a bit of individuality and quirkiness Eldorado is the right place to go if you’re not on a student budget.
