Armada Restaurant & Bar

Armada Restaurant offers some exceptionally, delicious food, absolutely amazing quality, at some incredible prices. I was definitely shocked at how fair the prices were, considering the fabulous food we were served. Just as amazing as the food and prices, the service was absolutely perfect. I very seldom ever describe the service staff at a restaurant as «perfect», if perfect service exists, it’s here at Armada. The wait staff was certainly a high point of our dining experience. It always makes a meal soo much better and definitely tolerable, when the staff greets you with huge smiles and a welcoming «hello.»
We completely came across Armada by accident. However, many great restaurants and cafes I’ve come across by mere happenstance, or due to just being really pissed faced, have turned out to be some of the best places to grub. I promise, you can definitely find some amazing places to stuff your face when your heavily intoxicated. You just want to make sure to go back sober, just to double check. On this trip, however, I was quite sober, that’s why I can remember the experience so well.
Armada takes traditional Aussie cusine and fuses it with an Asian flair and they certainly got this down to a culinary artform. They also have a well stocked bar and an incredible wine selection. The staff literally run back and forth getting you whatever you need. The beer selection was spectacular, very impressive. They also serve up some amazing coffee and the baristas are wonderful.
I ordered the spaghetti with blue swimmer’s crab and a side of sauteed Asian veggies. The spaghetti was exceptionally prepared, cooked perfectly, and tasted phenomenal. The crab was luscious, sweet and scrumptious. For dessert I ordered the banoffee pie. Absolutely righteous. The best freakin slice of pie I’ve eaten! I want the recipe! It was so good, I actually ordered another to go, that I intended on dropping off at my brother’s house, but I sadly ate it in the car on the way over. I invited my brother, but he said he was too tired, oh well, I was still hungry, so I ate his pie. Next time get your ass out of bed.
I highly recommend Armada Restaurant to every human being. You definitely will not go home disappointed, and if you do, it wasn’t me who recommended it.
