My friend & I experienced the weirdest and rudest staff member here ever. The lady at the front with the dark auburn/black hair. We were not allowed in when we visited Elizabeth Quay due to the«bar being too full». I had said we were there to eat and said we didn’t mind the wait when she snapped at us and said«Well I work here». We were left a bit bamboozled by that statement. It seemed from the get go she was hesitant to let us in for some reason. She then made a «UGH» sound and started shaking her head. My friend from Japan was left highly confused as was I. A moment later she let two girls behind us straight in with no questions, and then an entire group of about 10 people walked out. It was then I approached her again and said well a massive group just left and you just let two girls in, so I don’t see what the problem is?! She then proceeded to do the macarena with her hands again and made these really weird body gestures. She seemed highly insouciant and restless. Needless to say we left because I was concerned she might turn into the exorcist on us.

Nicely balanced cocktails, tasty small-plate food and attentive service make for a very enjoyable lounge bar experience. Plus, it’s not crowded, the music is quiet enough for actual conversation and the seating scores highly on the Comfy Chair Index. Very impressed!
