I know it’s part of a chain, and I’ve already reviewed Mexican on here… But this place is great for a Mexican food fix! If you’ve turned up at work hungover, or you’ve got a craving for something extremely unhealthy, Mad Mex has got you covered. I know liking Mexican but hating black beans is a sin, but a Grande Melt hold the beans is the bomb!

Quick & efficient service at the counter, we ordered the special prawn tacos, a pork burrito and a plate of nachos. I agree that paying extra for guacamole is a bit of stretch, who has ever eaten nachos without guacamole??? Anyway, I forked out the extra and got it back by paying for 1 cup for the refillable drink station and went back about 5 times(Does that make me a thief or just a cheapskate?). The food was tasty, perfect Sunday evening chow down. I especially like having the three sauces on the table to spice it up a little more, they were all yummy. Good work Mad Mex — we will be back. Just 1 thing, move the bin away from the cash register, doesn’t exactly whet the appetite.

For my last venture into Mad Mex, I had the pork naked burrito. Like most things on the menu, it is a bit of a «choose your own adventure» in terms of fillings and the amount of heat you want(or can handle). In my opinion though, you can’t go past the pulled pork! My only gripe was having to pay extra for guacamole, which I think is pretty central to Mexican food! Definitely still one of the best fast food options available in the area regardless.

Great location in the heart of parramatta. Staff are very helpful, they cooked our melts a bit longer than normal. Even though we were happy, they gave us a free churros. Great customer service. Quick service and great food.
