Believe me when I tell you that I do not take what I am about to write lightly.
Plush Fish, IMO, makes some of THE best coffee I have had, anywhere, everywhere, ever.
I don’t know their secret. In my barista days I tried to get my milk that creamy and delicious. I never succeeded. And, adding to the mystery, all the baritas here seem to be created equal, meaning it is a rock solid choice when you NEED and DEMAND an outstanding coffee.
The sushi, on the other hand… meh at best. I had to knock off a star for that, but the service: top notch.

NOTES:
~ The positive side of their customer service is that these folks know how to move a line FAST. However, they say things really quickly and rush, so it does get a bit impersonal. Dot not come here for an enjoyable meal and only for grab and go.
~ All the food is ready made and put into the glass display in front of you and you choose what you want. Again, this makes for very quick service because you can just stop by and pick something up.
~ Seating is very limited and cramped, so if you are looking for a place to hang out try another spot in Union House.
I don’t really recommend their sushi. I have had their salmon roll (salmon sashimi, avocado, and cucumber) and it was a bit dry and tasteless. Not very enjoyable or filling. However, the onigiri wins a 4 stars from me. Rice with bits of cooked salmon rolled up into a ball with some seaweed wrap! They’re very filling and for only 2.50 each so I would say it is very worth it. I can order 2 onigiris and get full from just that. The quality is pretty good too for how fast they chuck them out.
Overall, I really enjoy coming to Plush Fish when I am on the go and need to get to my class. Whether you are a university student or maybe just someone in a rush, Plush Fish makes for a cheap and quick meal you can bite into while walking.
However, while I do applaud their efficiency, a «Hi! Welcome to Plush Fish will that be all?» would be a little nice. I do get a bit anxious whenever I am at the cashier — you feel VERY VERY rushed.
