Gelatissimo is not the best ice-​cream/​gelato in Adelaide. But there are not a whole lot of alternatives in Norwood. It is a franchise, so don’t expect amazing creative and unique flavours. But what I can say about this place is that the flavours that I have tried have been good. Not great, just good.
I prefer the fruit flavours like lemon, mango and lychee. But on my last visit I gave the 96% sugar free chocolate a go. It was really good actually. Kind of heavier on the chocolate flavour as I guessed it would have been without the sugar. It was still sweet though. I wonder what they sub the sugar for?
The layout of this store is pretty cool. Kind of American Ice cream Parlour influenced. There are a bunch of booths and tables inside you can sit at with friends. They also have street tables as well. Which is great for a hot day!
The staff at this store are always lovely. Very friendly and happy to help and let you try flavours.

We rounded the corner from where we parked the car and saw that there was a very long queue at Gelatissimo. However, gelato was what we wanted so we joined the others and were surprised to be served and seated in just a very short while. So many flavours to choose from and every one looked delectable! All the choices made by our group went down a treat as did the coffee. We’ll be back!

Great Gelato, reasonable prices and plenty to choice from.
Wasn’t busy in the mid afternoon and had plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff was friendly.
