Came in hoping for a meat pie that would knock my socks off. The selection was very limited, so I went with my choice of «beef» or «beef». Pretty run of the mill but not bad. Lovely service but don’t expect anything extraordinary from the pies.

So after stopping by here to grab a take-​away pie and loving it so much! I returned for a sit-​down meal. Lamb Shank stew with in-​house baked bread and coffee. All up it was $ 11! The lamb literally slid off the bone and the bread was so soft. Coffee definitely hit the spot. Best of all the owner is super friendly and there’s a new menu every week. My new regular in Northcote!
