Excellent value for $ 33 buffet and free drinks. Very casual dinning, helps if you know how to cook as if you don’t you won’t be enjoying your food here.

After a whole day browsing for a place to go for a birthday dinner, we walked pass this place and thought it would’ve been nice as it was really packed. So we opened the door and was told it was a buffet. I didn’t have any idea before that, but one thing I know is never to think a busy place equals good quality. $ 33 for a steamboat was a good deal, so we looked around and see what we wanted to eat. I saw tables with barbeque as well, but it costs a little extra for that. Let’s forget about that, because even having just steamboat is not worth a try. I thought for an authentic-looking chinese restaurant, this place would offer a really nice steamboat experience. Too bad my tongue didn’t take it well. We had 3 different sauces for the soup and had to put lots and lots of garlic in there to get the taste. All the displays look like they’re delivered from Emma Seafood not far from there and yes I could’ve made my own steamboat at home even better. Ten minutes sitting down ready with all these full plates of cold seafood and meat, we threw it into the pot and found out it wasn’t even on. We weren’t aware of that, because obviously you will think they turn it on for you. So I tried looking for the staff and had to get to the person behind the counter to get a hand with that. I swear it should not have been that expensive to get a damn uniform. All the staff were just wearing whatever they liked. You can tell all of the food are cheap quality and I felt so ripped off paying $ 33 for all those. It’s dirty, not just the place but also the taste. Definitely will never return.

Honestly… this place is one to avoid. Poor service, average food. Bleh. I understand that this place is trying to combine both hot pit and BBQ but there are better places around town(for similar price) and better quality and service. Yes there’s the novelty of automatically rotating skewers(if the machine actually works) and it was as if the staff were actively avoiding customers. Not a place I would return to and would suggest other people avoid it.

What a curious little place! Rotating skewers, an endless buffet of familiar and foreign food to add to your hot pot and cheap cheap beer. I think a Halloween party would go down a treat with this selection, adding all that is weird and wonderful into your bubbling cauldron.

I’ve been to this restaurant three times, each time hoping it would impress but alas, it’s missed the mark on all occasions. Mind you, two of those times was dining buffet-style so that’s not always the best way to judge the freshness and quality of an eatery’s cuisine. Anyway, first time was at 1.30pm toward the end of the week so I forgave them for the lack of freshness across the board(well, buffet). Second time was at 12 on the dot on a Monday, hoping the produce would be better, but, nup. The squid tentacles were too dry; the chicken marinated in who-knows-what, and the salad bar not so fresh. Third time, and forced to go with a friend, I decided to go a la carte, opting for a hot pot. Better than the buffet but the fumes nearly blinded me. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a large party, let alone a date. It’s testing trialling it on your own or with a mate three times in a row and remaining unimpressed… Sorry Little Lamb… might have wait till you mature.

Little Lamb offers on-table hot pots and BBQs, which makes for a fun gimmick. However they should probably spend more time on perfecting their food instead of relying on the cheap tricks. Totally average food. The chicken skewers almost saved the day though, delicious, hot and straight off the BBQ, makes for a great snack.
