I love the dentist because it gives me a chance to show off another of my super powers that are not that super, a ridiculous resistance to anaesthetic. In reality what this means is I need double the amount of a normal person. I have read that it’s a ginger thing but that claim is still being debated among the medical community. One thing is for certain, for a dentist who practices pain-free dentistry it is mildly vexing. Dr D’Netto is that pain free dentist and he is very good at his job. Throughout procedures he carefully explains what he is doing and what you can expect to experience so you don’t freak out and his great aftercare advice that no one ever follows is very sensible. He doesn’t get on your case about not flossing enough either. His hours are convenient — he sees the last patient about 6pm on weeknights and works alternate Saturdays. His prices are reasonable(I never pay more than about $ 30 after health care rebate). Dr D’Netto is somewhat local to me but even when I have lived out of the area I still come all the way. It’s rare to find a great dentist and Dr D is a great dentist.
