This day and age with all the amazing burger stands and burger culture you would think you would want to be competitive in the market place? Or maybe not, this was with out need of exaggeration the worst burger I’ve ever had. Dry, rubbery and with no care for the dinners taste buds. I love a fast food burger but this was a trash burger. Don’t do it!

Very similar to Urban Burger in Richmond. Again, pretty decent vege options, and usually it’s about a 10 – 15 minute wait.

It’s difficult not to compare Urban Burger to Grill’d as they are both trying to do the exact same thing and capture the same market. The prices are also almost exactly the same, so the only thing really differentiating the two is the taste factor. In that department, they are also quite similar, but ultimately Grill’d wins. For me, it all come down to the beef patty, which is just better at Grill’d. Otherwise, I’d say they’re pretty much the same. Urban Burger do have a killer chicken burger with brie and cranberry sauce — so good! The chips are also great, but the dipping sauce portions are too small for my liking.

Who doesnt enjoy a good tasty burger? Well, you can get a tasty burger here, but with a twist. These are gourmet burgers, the type with ingredients that you cant pronounce or that you would find at a hipster café in sandwiches that cost more than you earned for the day. Take for example the king, which is listed on the menu as 100% King Island beef, brie, rocket, tomato, tangy red relish and aioli. Sounds very fancy for a burger, huh? The thing is though, that these burgers are delicious. With the brie cheese melting into the top quality beef patty, and dripping with the mixture of aioli and relish, th King Burger is juicy, flavoursone, and filling. They offer a decent vegetarian selection, not that I would ever choose a veggie patty over a beef or chicken one personally, but its definitely available., And their chips! I’m not sure what they season them with, but make sure you order some with your burger — you wont be sorry.
