The best phở in Melbourne. I’ve been to Vietnam and the recipe here is just like the proper home made phở, just like it should be. I had a conversation with the owner and he said it takes him hours alone to prepare for the beef stock. Most phở places don’t put in the work and passion in their phở like this man does and you can really taste the difference with this phở. Another favourite dish of mine is tom yum and it’s a favourite among friends. It is reasonably priced. Good eat out on a Friday night with the girls.

A fantastic place for a phở. Great broth that had me coming back regularly to ward off winter colds.

It’s about time some of the authentic Vietnamese restaurants moved down to the North Melbourne end of Victoria Street! This particular one is a nice little family run ‘no frills’ restaurant perfect for grabbing a steaming bowl of Phở. Not to mention that they actually open *reasonably* early(10am I think?) which means I can grab breaky there as well! Pork on broken rice(com tam) & vietnamese coffee(cà phê sua á) is the usual winner. And did I mention it is super cheap too?
