Jurlique

This is a lovely store: jam-​packed with Jurlique’s well-​designed and natural skin products every way you look.
I visited this shop recently for a pressie for my Nan, who suffers from extremely dry and fragile skin on her hands. The staff were knowledgable and helpful when I told them what I was after, and a lovely lady helped me select a lavender hand cream for $ 28 for my Nan.
While the scent of many of the products isn’t quite to my particular tastes (quite strong, fresh and organic smelling with lots of florals), I really like the fact they’re locals, growing their ingredients in South Australian hills and the fact they’re committed to sustainability and environmentally-​friendly practices.
My Nan absolutely *adored* the hand cream and said it was one of the best she’s tried. Win!

Jurlique really is a fantastic brand: it started in the Adelaide Hills, it uses natural ingredients (and offers full disclosure), it smells good enough to eat, maybe you could eat it and it would be better for you than some stuff we call food, they’re committed to environmental sustainability. If these reasons aren’t enough to get you in there’s no hope for you sorry. In a nutshell — local goodness!
