The gentleman who served us was lovely.
He was very friendly and courteous.
The explanations of the day’s specials made the food sound wonderful.
Sadly, the food was not to my tastes.
The arancini looked spectacular, but did not live up to the hype.
It did not taste fresh and had a frozen breadcrumb fragrance to it.
The spinach gnocchi was ok. Not great. Just ok.
The pasta of the day was beef ravioli in a Napoletana sauce with bacon and mushrooms.
It sounds great, unfortunately it was very average.
There were some pea size bits of beef in what appeared to have been store bought frozen ravioli. The sauce was ok, but I have had better store bought sauce.
The pasta was definitely over priced and below average especially considering the Italian Bowl is across the road.
These guys may have better dishes on the menu, so good luck if you go here for a meal.
The 3 stars are because the staff were great.
Sadly the food was not.

I love this place. This place is run by the some guys from Gelatomassi, the outstanding gelato shop a few doors down.
Simple food done really well. Exceptional service at an excellent price.
Good, hearty, high quality food with some nice wines. My favourite is the chicken snitty. 2 words, get here!
