Memory Park is a locals park. It doesn’t have a fence so it’s a high alert kind of place — particularly as Cowles Road which runs along one side can have a fair bit of traffic. There are swings, a climbing frame and a rocking boat for little kids plus a pretty small basketball ‘court’ and hoop. It’s very well protected by trees but this can make it a little dark and dank in winter. There’s also the constant sound of Magpies in spring and this makes me a little twitchy(have you ever been swooped!!). There can be the occasional bit of graffiti and teenage detritus but Mosman levels only and the council have a 24 hour response guarantee though this isn’t strictly adhered to. No toilets. Benches only.
