I have been to Four Frogs Mosman many times. Their galettes, crepes, coffee and cider are amazing. HOWEVER, the service on Sunday evening 12 June was TERRIBLE. The restaurant was quiet. However, I was kept waiting in the cold for a table for ages while waiters /waitress messed around in the kitchen area. Eventually, one waiter came out to seat the growing queue of customers. He then proceeded to seat other people rather than the next person in line … me. Four Frogs Mosman, my 5-star rating of you has dropped to 2.5-stars… very disappointing.

Wonderful place to eat, large portions and the staff was incredibly friendly. The coffee was fabulous, we will certainly return. There are many more things on the menu that we are looking forward to trying.

I tried Four Frogs in Mosman for the first time in 2013 after a 2 hour hike because the bus wasn’t running, and I have to say the quality of the crepes puts them over any other creperie I have tried in Sydney so far aside from Avila, and above most French crêpe places I’ve tried so far as well! It is a bit far from from home for me, but worth the trip! And it is close enough to the Orpheum to do a cool Monday $ 5-movie & crepes combo if you are a student, which is always pretty groovy on the scale of epicness — an explanation for another day! The place is clean, with lots of light and a nice quiet outdoor are, even though it’s on the street. The staff is extremely nice, polite and patient, and they have a funny French accent — or sexy or cute, depends what you are looking for. The crepes are very good, and I say that as someone who lived in Britanny, France every summer for over 20 years: they are truly good and well-prepared. The buckwheat-based savoury crepes — called a «galette» — are authentic and the traditional compositions you can do with them are all on the menu. For some reason though — and I compared three times — the Mosman ones are slightly better … The French ciders on the menu range from average to excellent and the chocolate and salted-caramel sauces on the sweet crepes are delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good movie & dinner night! Imagine grilling haloumi and duck strips in duck fat, than adding that on a galette with mango chutney … just saying!

Fantastic savoury crepes on a quiet side street. I could have easily been convinced I was in a small town in France. We trusted the server’s recommendations on a crêpe off of the specials menu that had, among other things, blue cheese, and I think honey and walnuts maybe? We were not disappointed! If I had to find fault with something, the service was a little slow(but hey, we’re re-creating France here, right?), and the coffee was just okay. Overall, good experience, and a great place to grab lunch after a morning at the zoo.

Today i had a four frog crêpe at the bleu blanc rouge crêpe festival, which reminded me to write a review for the restaurant, which i have been to a few times. As a french person, i am often very surprised at how few creperies there are in Sydney. Such a simple and delicious recipe, and so many french expats in Sydney! anyway, the four frogs did it, and they did it well(btw when are you guys opening in the eastern suburbs?) The galettes, savoury crepes, taste 100% authentic, and they are very reasonably priced. I personally always go with the ham and cheese, a remain from my childhood perhaps. For dessert, the nutella crêpe is a must, although there are many other delicious options, like the crepes flambees, which are very popular back home. Now regarding the nutella crêpe at the four frogs, i do believe that they are being a bit stingy on the nutella, and it breaks my heart every time. It doesnt need much more to be 100% satisfying. The restaurant itself is a bit small but cosy, with a lot of natural light, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend to get a double(«la double» for either savoury or sweet, otherwise the meal is not really filling enough). It doesnt hurt to get a small salad on the side too, just to get a bit more greens in — usually present in small quantities in the crepes themselves.

Magnifique! This is a regular stop for some of my friends but Sunday was the first time I’ve been here. I’ve been missing out! It’s like a little bit of France: a small shop with in– and out-door café seating. I started with a Ricard, nicely presented with a glass of ice and a bottle of water on the side. Then I had a sweet crêpe(a double, actually), keeping it simple with just Belgian chocolate. It was hot, large, well-cooked(just crispy), and delicious. My dining companions had a range of sweet crepes and savoury galettes between them, all of which looked great. White wine and cider accompanied theirs. No one complained. This is a great spot for a treat, and quite properly like popping to Paris for it.

Outstanding, i am visiting from Hawaii and used Unilocal to find some good Crepes. They are Four French guys that moved to Australia and opened the restaurant. Great Food, really nice staff and great coffee. Highly recommend.

Amazing Crepes! So far I have just tried the Banana & Nutella but I would love the to come back and try the others including the savoury! The crêpe had plenty of Nutella and Banana and the crêpe was perfectly thin and delicate. Absolutely delicious!

Busy place, good décor, very nice crepes although some a bit oily sometimes. Fairly expensive but similar to other places in the area. Recommended in general. A simple galette(salty crêpe) + a sweet crêpe & a drink will set you back around $ 40.

I’ve dined here a few times now and can confidently report that the food is amazing here as well as the beverages. However the biggest complaint for me is the service. Slow would be polite. It always amazes me that when you have a line out the door your host can’t remember to come and give someone their bill. Had to actually get up and track the waiter down which there at present only 2. I reckon if you are a diligent patron you will be ok.

While on vacation, our friends who live in Australia insisted on eating lunch here. While hungry, I was extremely worried since I have never been a fan of crepes, and at the moment, I craved a yummy nutritious chicken salad. I looked at the menu and saw a Greek Salad w/chicken which made me very happy. Who would have known the Greek salad with Chicken would have been wrapped in a crêpe? I panicked a bit but gave it a go. I cleared my plate, it was simply great! There is nothing better in life than stepping outside the food bubble and be amazingly surprised with deliciousness! I hope to find a crêpe joint like this in LA!

There are few things better in life than eating authentic french crepes on a rainy sunday afternoon. And so there we were on a rainy, cold, grey Sunday at the Four Frogs Creperie in Mosman. It’s started by four french guys and you can read their sweet little intro on their menu while you decide which one of these delicate babies you want to sink your teeth into. They have the sweet as well as the savoury variety. The savoury ones are called ‘galletes’ and that’s what we ordered, as eating chocolate sauce drenched crepes first thing in the morning is frowned upon, unless you are a 4yr old! So, reluctantly I ordered the savoury, all the while wishing to order the suzzette, and I was in for a pleasant surprise. My crêpe of chorizo, mushroom, cheese and avocado was super delicious, as was the potato, onion, chicken and egg with piri piri which my partner ordered. It was crispy with the right amount of filling in it. They mill the buckwheat flour for the savoury crepes inhouse, and also make their salted caramel and chocolate sauces themselves. The emphasis is on fresh food and you can see the chefs busy making perfect crepes at the open kitchen. The coffee is pretty good too. So why the 4 stars, the place is small and really busy, which results in long waiting time on the weekends. Other than that, I know I am going there one of these days soon for a dessert pancake after dinner! yeah the flambee kind :)

This place was probably my favourite find on the month of May. AMAZING is the word, really. I went to the one in Mosman with a couple of friends and really cannot fault it: all crepes we had(savoury and sweet) were delicious. I had the breakfast crêpe with ham, egg, cheese and avocado, a coffee, and shared a salted caramel and almonds crêpe with a friend. I was in food heaven and quite satisfied for the rest of the day. Aside from the food being deliciously fresh and made right in front of you, the cute and friendly French waiters make this place a complete package. They’re also spot on with their Social Media which is something I have a high regard for when it comes to businesses. I posted a photo on my Instagram and tagged them, they not only commented and followed me, but also reposted it on their own profile — talk about a business doing it right and engaging with their customers. Four Frogs, keep doing what you’re doing. I like it. I like it a lot.

This is place is great. It is genuine French crêpes. I will absolutely come again. We ordered the chicken, chorizo and avocado and it was delicious. But the cream of the crop is their desserts. Salted caramel sauce is awesome. Their cider is also amazing. Just a warning it is a small place so it gets booked out fast. So either book or come early.

A delightful creperie just off military rd in mosman. Wide range of traditional and innovative creeps made right in front of you as creeps always should be. Good coffee too.

I like this place and i’d return… But to get a four star from me they need to tweak a few things. So whats to love Sunny setting, great vibe and décor, friendly service. Tasty fresh made crepes, amazing salted caramel milk shake. Tweaks… The chuncky tomatoe sauce is straight from tin toms where the scrumptious cspsicum relish appears home made. Its those little touches that make it memorable.

Tried Four Frogs today on their 2nd day in business. So far I don’t have much to fault so let’s hope they keep up the good work once they’ve been open for awhile because this place may just become a new favourite of mine! I’m also glad my family(visiting from overseas) got the chance to try it out before they headed off back home. One more thing to add to the list of why they need to come back to visit again soon. :) So how do I love thee? Let me count the ways… 1. The inviting open faced shop front. Something about these make me smile. 2. The authentic French vibe 3. The décor is right up my alley 4. The servers were friendly and the crepes came out quickly 5. The crepes were delicious(and there are tons of flavours to choose from) 6. The prices are totally reasonable, especially for mosman– and even the«simple» crêpe is quite big. 7. They serve wine and cider! 8. It’s only a 5 minute walk from my place and we seriously need some cool new little shops and restaurants in the area. I mean really… how many hair salons do you need on avenue road? So glad to see something different! Our group tried a variety of crepes. The boysenberry, Nutella & banana, sugar & butter, salted caramel & fig and finally the egg, cheese, mushroom and bacon(which was LOADED with mushrooms and bacon). All were great except we struggled to find egg in the egg one. Seemed like tons of cheese and mushrooms and barely any egg. REVISED– the original complaints below have now been rectified! They are open late on weekends and there are some new delish savoury flavours to try. My favourite are the goat cheese varieties. If I had any complaints(and these really are small, picky little things) they would be: 1. They are not open later than 5. Not sure if this is in their control or if it’s a neighbourhood zoning type thing. There are some delicious looking dessert crepes that I’d love to try but the thought of eating them before 5pm doesn’t work for me. This would be an awesome after dinner spot to have a glass of wine and a chocolate and french rum flambee. 2. The variety of savoury crepes is a bit lacking in my personal opinion. Seems like they were primarily breakfasty egg and bacon type flavours or ham and cheese. I’d love to see something a little different/unique that I’d enjoy for lunch since I’m not a giant egg or ham fan. Overall I’m stoked about this place. Really looking forward to trying all the other flavours soon.
