Mirrabooka Square Playground

A playground in a shopping centre– not the most unique idea but a great opportunity to tire the kids out that extra little bit in the hope they pass out in the car.
This play zone is obviously a catchment area and the signage re-​enforcing that children are not to be left unattended indicates that perhaps some parents look at this cage with toys as a free child minding service. The entertainment consist of a couple tunnels to crawl through, a few poles and a naughts and crosses activity. Not very entertaining. Ironically there is a sexy piercing shop just behind it which makes for questionable photos at the right angle. Despite the structure itself being fairly uninspiring, the children within appeared to be enjoying the space– perhaps the major player here is the interaction.
If you can honestly shop no more and just need some down time, this is a great breather in a controlled environment. If I had been deposited there when I was growing up, I would have torn this place apart in 2 minutes. Not for children over 7– or anyone with a sense of adventure.
