Fresh, crisp summer rice paper rolls, Hanks sodas and a selection of bakery treats. Lovely!

Perfect for lunch if you are on Park Road. They describe themselves as «Vietnamese street food» and I would say that is pretty damn accurate. They have rice paper rolls and bahn me rolls(mmm. lemongrass beef was pretty damn good) and a whole lot more. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the seats out the front while eating; it makes for a very pleasant escape from work! Be warned though: it gets quite busy at lunchtime! Though the queue moves very quickly, so don’t let that stop you. Cheers,

Rice Paper Scissors, the newest kid on the Park Road block, was never going to have an easy time winning me over when Mrs Luu’s(my Bánh mì go-to) is some 500 meters away and my bun-love belongs firmly to The Bun Mobile. However, I will give them kudos for their Bánh mì(I had the ‘Sticky Beak’ — sweet soy chicken) and their steamed bun(steak & mushroom), both full of flavour, filling and fresh. For $ 7 and $ 6.50 respectively it’s value for money with a pretty decent(read: eat one Bánh mì and be left feeling very satisfied and unable to eat another thing) Vietnamese inspired feed. There’s also a cabinet full of freshly made rice paper rolls from traditional flavours to more modern takes including omlette and mushroom. Rice Paper Scissors, you do alright and when the lines are too long at Mrs Luu’s I dare say I’ll find myself back here for a Bánh mì fix.
