A Sheer Delight

Wow, this place really is aptly named. I was surprised at the large array of original and reasonably priced giftware I found here.
Sheer Delight is particularly great for anyone in search of children’s presents. There are lots of old fashioned style wooden toys, beautifully painted and reminiscent of a much more innocent era. A great idea for parents who are trying to escape the constant bombardment of Americanised merchandise, constantly dangled in front of little one’s noses.
A brightly coloured and eye-​catching contraption would probably be a welcome relief from the very common busty Brat or Barbie dolls that fill children’s minds these days.
There is also a great range of children’s books and colouring-​in books. The fairy one is particularly sweet.
Beautiful gift wrapping paper and gorgeous gifts for an older audience can also be found here. I love the selection of masquerade masks that can be purchased for a bargain price.
There is street parking and parking at the back of the shop available and the shop assistants were very friendly and helpful.
